Before you BUY Questions

What age range is Family Presents suited to?

Our boxes are designed to be enjoyed by the entire family, adults and children. It is difficult to create a game in the PLAY box that is suitable for children under 4, however we do our best to design our MAKE, BAKE and DO boxes so that younger children can join in. All children will need assistance from adults. The optimum age is 4-12 years.

Will we need special equipment?

We provide dry contents and ingredients to our families. This means, if you require a paint brush for an activity, you will be supplied with one. Our BAKE boxes often require the addition of an additional wet ingredient; i.e. butter, oil or eggs – so make sure you’re stocked up.

Are the contents recyclable?

We are really passionate about looking after the world around us and therefore we keep the plastic we send you to an absolute minimum. It is necessary to protect the boxes in transit from the elements and so your box arrives in a large postage bag. All of the items that you discard from your box should be able to be disposed of in your recycling bin. There is very rarely any plastic inside the box and we don’t send plastic based products.

We are vegetarian, do you cater for us?

We aim to ensure that all of our ingredients and box contents are suitable for vegetarians. Most of our BAKE recipes suggest the use of eggs or butter, but if you happen to be vegan – you can use an alternative.

Do you cater for specific allergies and dietary requirements?

We never send nut products in any of our boxes. However, many of our ingredients and contents may contain wheat, gluten and dairy products. The instructional cards clearly list this and each ingredient is is clearly labelled with any allergens in bold. Creating a completely allergen free alternative is on our roadmap and something we will be looking to do in the future.

Why can't I choose what's in my boxes?

This is the most exciting part of Family Presents. You know you’re getting four boxes every month: PLAY, MAKE, BAKE and DO… but only we know what’s in them until the day of distribution. Each month is four completely unique surprises. We aim to provide an all-in-one solution to your family time throughout the month.

There is the option to tell us about dietary requirements and allergies when signing up.

If I order today, when will my box arrive?

We accept orders until the 8th day of each month, for that month.

i.e. If you sign up by the 7th October, you will receive the October box.

If you sign up after the 8th day of the month, you will not receive your box until the second week of the following month.

i.e. If you sign up on the 9th October, you will receive your first box in November.

This is so that we can keep a clear eye on the number of boxes that are being distributed and we don’t want boxes to be lying around in our premises for too long, as it may have an affect on the quality of the final product arriving at your door.

How do I pause my subscription?

You can pause your subscription at any time from YOUR ACCOUNT. You will need the email address and password you used when signing up. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page.

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time from YOUR ACCOUNT. You will need the email address and password you used when signing up. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page. If the money has been debited for the following months box, it will be sent to you. If you cancel before your payment is taken, you will not be sent the box for the forthcoming month.

My box arrived damaged, what can I do?

We’re sorry to hear this. We take the quality of our Family Presents very seriously and want to offer a very fast solution to any products that arrive damaged. Please contact us as fast as possible.

My box is missing some items, what can I do?

We’re sorry to hear this. We take the quality of our Family Presents very seriously and want to offer a very fast solution to any products that arrive incomplete. Please contact us as fast as possible so that we can get the missing items to you as quickly as possible.

My box hasn't arrived?

Please contact us as quickly as possible if your box hasn’t arrived. We currently use Royal Mail for shipping. They can take between 1 and 3 working days from the date of dispatch which is usually midweek in the second week of the month. We will be able to track your delivery from our side and will get a replacement sent as quickly as possible if there is an issue.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through all major credit and debit cards.

When is the first payment taken?

The first payment is taken at the time of signing up. As Family Presents is a recurring subscription, this payment will be re-debited via the same source, on or around the same day every month until such time that you pause or cancel your subscription. You can see which date upcoming payments will be debited from YOUR ACCOUNT.
